This book is almost too hard to review with out giving spoilers. So alas darlings I just could not so PLEASE BE AWARE THIS REVIEW WILL HAVE SPOILERS.

Autumn is a bit of an awkward girl on her way to starting her freshman year in college. Together with her best friend Evie she plans to do what her geeky self does best: STUDY, STUDY with some more STUDYING sprinkled on top. She also plans to reconnect with her prior best friend Brody. She thinks all will be peachy nerdy clean and they’ll be the three single of nerdom. But all that falls apart the first time she lays eyes on him. Hunter Bane (one kick ass sexy name right there). The moment that leaf blower blows her cool to smithereens, she looks into those green eyes and knows all is not the same in her world. She yearns for a more intimate, deeper (ahem) connection. To his credit the man sounds edible so who could blame the gal.
The good: The verbal fore play is pretty good and will keep you interested. The sexual tension is also good because it’s not up to the “this bush is a burning” proportions. Also his bad boy ways works in his favor. Sure he acts like a bit of a douche but that never stops us from being into a SOB. Amiright?! I did not see Brody being who he was at the end of this. That I gotta say was pretty cool.
The bad: It was all a bit predictable. Him becoming a drug dealer trying to find evidence to save his brother was just the logical conclusion. Her being surprised by Evie being in love with her was a bit funny. The girl was possessive of her throughout most of the book and even Brody bringing it to light. I mean come on!
It was entertaining though. I’d like to give a special thank you to the author for the yummy “getting down to business scene. I’m ever so grateful ;)
