Review of Charade by Nyrae Dawn

Pleasantly surprised. I wasn't sure what to expect since it sounded like it might be a tad dramatic, but it was in a very good way. Cheyenne with her childhood trauma ( her mother leaving her), abandonment issues and panic attacks. Colt with his mother dying of cancer and having to sell drugs to help with the bills. They come together when Chey needs a fake boyfriend to make her cheating ex jealous and WHAM sparks fly. The bad boy falling for the good girl hook always gets me and this one although a bit as at the end was a beautiful example. -Juli
