[RELEASE DAY BLITZ- REVIEW & GIVEAWAY] BREACH OF CONTRACT (BOUND, BOOK 2) BY J.R. GRAY
Nov 6, 2014
Breach of Contract (Bound Book 2)
Author: J.R. Gray
Genre: BDSM M/M Erotic
Synopsis
With the legal trouble behind them, Daniel Caplin and Rafael Argon are ready to settle into a low key d/s relationship, but life is unrelenting, when blackmail shatters their illusion of happily ever after. Pictures from one of the Rafael’s public scenes instill fear into his new Submissive, Daniel, acting as a wedge driving the new couple apart.
The building peril in George’s community weighs heavy on his shoulders as he struggles to find the culprit while hiding his feelings for his new house guest. Jesse is torn between ending his marriage, picking up a rebound he should have left fifteen years in the past, and the dangling carrot of a possible relationship with a man. He is forced to fight for what he wants most, a leap he may be too chicken to take.
In the sequel to Legally Bound George battles to take down an unknown enemy, while watching helpless, as those he cares for most are broken beyond repair. Can Rafael and Daniel rebuild their trust after it's broken with lies?
My Review
Rating: 5 Stars
So out of the blue I get contacted by Bare Naked Words asking me if I was interested with reviewing "Breach of Contract", book 2 of the Legally Bound series by Gray. Now, I loved the first book! Not only was I: 1) FLOORED, but 2) over the moon to be getting the opportunity to continue this story! So I dropped a couple of books I was reading and started on this testosterone ride of a book. Now if I thought Daniel and Rafael (the main characters of book 1) were mouth watering and delectable, I gotta say George and Jesse put those two to shame..damn (insert the fire emoticons from the smartphone)
Breach of Contract by J.R. Gray picks up a few months or so after the events of book 1. Things are starting to fall into place with Daniel and Rafael and their relationship. Work is well with Daniel and his work partner, Jesse, at their firm. All seems to be on the up and up. Yeah well it's not. Jesse is at his wits end with his wife. The love that was once there just isn't anymore. He feels he is starting to lose a sense of himself, if he knew what that really was before their marriage. After being pushed one too many times by his wife, Jesse has had enough. After a bitter fight he leaves and takes up residence with George King: towering, intimidating Dominant and owner of a very exclusive BDSM club in Chicago. George is all about control and order but when Jesse is his abrasive, no nonsense self all those rules and order George has set, goes out the window. Is there more than meets the eye with Jesse and George? Ooooh boy is there ever!
Ok, so..if you read my first review at the very end I was telling you how much I needed this book. Especially when you started to see the dynamic and connection between George and Jesse at the end of book 1 and with this book. George and Jesse are so freaking sexy together, I just can't stand it (of course I can stand it or I wouldn't be blushing ridiculously while writing this!) What I liked was that you didn't see a forced relationship with these two. It came naturally. George had his lifestyle with no shame. Jesse makes a discovery that even though he loves the company of a woman, he can't deny that being intimate with a man is something he knows he wants to do, but just never acted upon. The discovery went smoothly throughout the book. No rushing or sloppy moments from the author's part when it concerned Jesse's attraction and overall love for George. The sexual tension was insane. I was practically clawing my hubby at night while I read this. Holy Hell..hotness! Another thing that worked for me was that George as distinguished as he was and the strong facade he had on the outside was able to melt anytime Jesse was around. Jesse is one of those hot sarcastic friends that you know is just going to say something off the wall, but you know that's him and he won' change. Take him or leave him and George was right. He kept his man. Even though they built a Dom/Sub relationship, Jesse was still Jesse. He didn't lose himself like he lost a sense of himself with his wife. The story in itself was cool, even though it was longer I ate it up and honestly wanted more. You got a whodunit so to speak. You got to see where Daniel and Rafael relationship's took a turn. Don't worry those two are just fine! And you got an ending that knocked you on your ass and made you do a double read. Yeah a big WTF!
In all, I am growing to love this series. We are definitely getting more books in the series, we better be with that kind of ending Mr. Gray! Jesus! Anyways, out of a 5, I'm giving this a 5! Loved, loved, loved it. You have my heart with this one Mr. Gray.

Excerpt
The back elevator dinged as he approached, and the doors slid back to reveal Jesse's face. He had circles under his eyes and worry lines in his forehead. Two fingers held a garment bag over one shoulder and a duffle over his other.
“Is it still okay if I stay?” He put a smile on his lips that George knew was fake.
“But of course. Let me help you.” George approached him and tried to take the bag, but Jesse didn’t move to hand it over.
“I’ve got it.”
“Don’t be absurd. I would have a slave do it, but he’s rather tied up at the moment.”
The statement earned a chuckle out of Jesse, and he gave up the bag. Even hurt Jesse had a light in his blue eyes and his heart on his sleeve, a trait that made him wholly unique compared to the masks most wore to impress George.
“I can stay on the sofa or something if the slaves use the guest rooms.”
George laughed and turned his back to stalk down the hall. When he didn’t hear Jesse following, he cast a glance over his shoulder.
“Slaves in bed … how naive you really are, handsome.”
Jesse started after him, brow creased. “Where do they sleep then?” He caught up and followed George to the other side of the penthouse.
He realized Jesse was serious, and he laughed throatily again. “I have cages for them.”
“I love you and Daniel, but your lifestyle is fucked.”
Author Bio
When not staying up all night writing, J.R Gray can be found basking in the warm glow of the Miami sun, or at the gym where it's half assumed Gray is a permanent resident. A dominant, pilot, and sword fighting enthusiast, Gray finds it hard to be in the passenger seat of any car. Gray frequently interrupts real life, including normal sleep patterns, to jot down nonsense. The bane of Gray's existence are commas, and even though it's been fully acknowledged they are necessary, they continue to baffle and bewilder.
If Gray wasn't writing…well, that's not possible. The buildup of untold stories would haunt Gray into an early grave or possibly a mental institution where the tales would end up on the walls in crayon and finger paint.
